I really can not figure out why the Gators are still ranked #1 in the polls. Their average margin of victory against a ranked team is 8.6 points. meanwhile , they blow out no names like FIU by 50 or more. FIU is a TINY school in Miami, known locally for academics, not sports. I’m willing to bet the ‘92 SHS Pioneers could give FIU a run for their money. Glad you’re feeling good Gator fans.

I’d love for you to be lulled into that (false) sense of security when FSU comes into town Saturday. True, the Noles are not as strong this year, currently unranked, and in the middle of a head coaching melee. But i will assure you, this will NOT be a 50 + pt outing for UF. This is one of the few games i actually agree with the cliche of ” the records go out the window for this rivalry.” And keep your eyes open for a possible Jenn Sterger siting at the game.
